EDG Inc. is seeking a Construction Engineer to support capital projects from definition through commissioning and closeout. You will help define scope, develop cost estimates, schedules, and bid packages, and coordinate on-site field activities.

The role requires strong communication, project management, and MS Office skills, with ABET-accredited engineering education and zero to one year of experience. Travel to project sites may be required.

Formación

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering; ABET-accredited program.
• ABET-accredited engineering program required.
• Zero to less than 1 year of experience.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, communication, organizational and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Word and Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Construction Group to manage capital projects through the entire life cycle from definition to closeout.
• Develop project scope, cost estimates, and schedules as part of project teams.
• Participate in on-site field visits and site activities.
• Develop detailed construction plans, outage requirements, and permits; prepare detailed estimates.
• Coordinate with utility accounts on outages affecting customers.
• Prepare bid packages and participate in vendor selection and pre-bid meetings.
• Ensure safety, environmental compliance, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
