EDG is seeking a Construction Engineer to drive capital projects from initiation through commissioning and closeout. You will participate in defining scope, cost estimates, and schedules while coordinating on-site visits, outages, and vendor selections.

Ideal candidates bring an ABET‑accredited engineering degree with 5–10 years in construction of capital projects, strong leadership, communication, and MS Office skills. Travel to multiple sites and field environments is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Five to ten years' experience in construction of capital projects.
• Superior interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Construction Group to manage capital projects through the life cycle.
• Develop project scope, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Participate on site field visits and outage planning.
• Develop detailed construction plans and identify outage requirements.
• Develop bid packages; review responses and vendor selection.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance throughout construction.
• Provide progress reporting on schedule and cost.
• Coordinate with utility accounts on outages and impacts.
