Job summary

Emerald Technologies in Saline, MI is seeking a Conformal Coat Operator I to assist in applying protective coatings to PCBs and assemblies. You will learn coating processes under supervision while ensuring quality and safety.

Responsibilities include preparing PCBs, operating coating equipment, mixing materials, performing visual inspections with UV light, and maintaining records. No prior experience required beyond 0–1 year; training provided; the role offers a path to skilled manufacturing

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• 0–1 year electronics manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Willingness to learn IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001.

Responsibilities

• Prepare PCBs and assemblies for coating, including masking and fixture setup.
• Operate basic coating equipment under supervision.
• Assist in mixing and handling coating materials.
• Perform visual inspections for coverage and defects with UV light.
• Maintain production records and follow safety procedures.
• Report defects or equipment issues to supervision.
