Job summary

Emerald Technologies in Saline, MI is seeking a Conformal Coat Operator I to assist in applying protective coatings to PCBs and electronic assemblies. Learn and perform conformal coating processes under supervision, ensuring quality, safety, and process compliance.

Responsibilities include preparing PCBs, operating basic coating equipment, handling coating materials, inspecting coverage with UV, and keeping accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-1 year of experience in electronics manufacturing or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and good manual dexterity.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow established IPC-A-610, J-STD-001

• Assist in mixing and handling coating materials per instructions.

• Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment.
• Report defects, irregularities, or equipment malfunctions to supervisor.

The Conformal Coat Operator assists in applying protective coatings to printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic assemblies. This position focuses on learning and performing conformal coating processes under close supervision while ensuring quality, safety, and process compliance.
