Job summary

TT Electronics is seeking a dedicated team member for conformal coating of circuit board assemblies at our Greater Cleveland, Ohio site. The role focuses on prep, coating, and post-processing of conformal coatings, with strict adherence to safety and environmental guidelines.

The candidate will demonstrate proper coating techniques, perform quality inspections, and maintain equipment while complying with ITAR and safety policies. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify conformal coating type, cure schedule, and coating requirements.
• Demonstrate safe handling of process chemicals and materials with PPE.
• Pass Respiratory Testing and Fit Testing initially and annually.
• Perform safe practices and PPE usage as specified.
• Operate and maintain the HPLV spray gun and related equipment.
• Measure conformal coating thickness using appropriate methods per instructions.
• Review shelf life of conformal coatings and thinners before use.
• Handle and dispose of general and hazardous waste per guidelines.
• Follow coating requirements during inspections and touch-ups.
• Support setup, first piece inspection, and in-process audits.
• Operate aerosol spray cans following proper techniques.
• Locate and use SDS information.
• Additional duties as needed.
