UES, Inc. is seeking a Concrete Laboratory Technician for our Fort Worth laboratory. This entry‑level role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and hands‑on work, with training provided and no prior lab experience required.

You will support Construction Materials Testing (CMT) operations by receiving, logging, labeling, curing, and testing concrete cylinders per ASTM standards, contributing to reliable test results for regional projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree/technical coursework preferred.
• 0–3 years in construction materials testing or related lab work.
• Commitment to workplace safety and PPE protocols.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to read procedures and reports.
• Physical ability to lift 35–75 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine lab testing on construction materials following ASTM/AASHTO standards.
• Document and report test results with detailed records.
• Assist with sample preparation, handling, and storage.
• Operate laboratory testing equipment and follow safety protocols.
• Communicate results and issues to supervisors and field personnel.
• Support other tasks as needed by the laboratory team.
