Job summary

Ceco Concrete Construction is seeking a Laborer I to support concrete construction teams on commercial projects. You will assist skilled tradespeople, prepare and clean job sites, handle materials, and operate basic tools and equipment. This is an entry-level role requiring physical stamina and reliability.

You may be exposed to weather and job-site hazards while contributing to foundations, slabs, walls, and curbs. Union guidelines apply, with union participation details provided after hire.

Qualifications

• Able to frequently lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• Must be able to walk, stoop, kneel, reach and climb.
• Frequent use of hand tools such as power tools, circular saws, hammers, nails and bolts.
• Preference for 12 months of formwork/concrete construction labor experience.
• 30 Hour OSHA Card desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction labor including jobsite cleanup and material handling.
• Operate motorized equipment and power tools as directed.
• Assist skilled tradespeople in pouring vertical concrete and installing reshores.
• Work in various weather conditions and on active job sites.
