Job summary

Sunrise Nursing & Memory Care is seeking a compassionate Hospitality Aide to join our team. You will help residents with daily tasks, provide warm customer service, and support a comfortable living environment.

No experience required; this entry-level position offers growth opportunities. You will assist with room organization, meal service, companionship, and safe mobility, while upholding our commitment to dignity and quality care.

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

Organize resident rooms, closets, and bedside stands to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
Assist residents with smoking and monitoring for safety.
Provide companionship and socialization activities with residents, including reading, writing, and setting up other things as requested.
Assist with meal service, including setting up trays, passing fluids and snacks, and cleaning the dining room.
Make and clean unoccupied beds, and dispose of soiled linen.
Transport residents in wheelchairs or geri-chairs, with assistance from nursing staff as needed.
Present a professional image to residents and families through dress, behavior, and speech.
Ensure that all patient/resident rights are protected.
