Job summary

Southern Specialty Rehabilitation and Nursing is hiring a Hospitality Aide to support residents with non-clinical tasks, meals, and daily living activities. You will help maintain clean environments, assist with laundry, and ensure safety and comfort for residents in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates are reliable, patient, and able to work independently or as part of a team, following care procedures and documenting information accurately.

Responsibilities

• Support Nursing Services (Non-Clinical): assist the nursing department with non-nursing tasks (bed-making, passing water and ice, answering call lights, gathering supplies).
• Assist with meals: prepare, deliver, and clean up meals following dietary guidelines and safety standards.
• Encourage participation: support a positive living environment by encouraging residents to engage in activities and social programs.
• Maintain cleanliness: keep resident rooms and common areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Provide laundry assistance: assist with resident laundry services as needed.
• Follow safety & compliance standards: comply with patient rights, employee responsibilities, and safety policies.
• Observe and report: identify and report concerns or safety issues promptly.
• Assist as needed: perform additional non-clinical duties to support daily facility operations.
