Job summary

Citibank (Switzerland) AG in San Jose, CA is seeking an entry level Community Mortgage Lending Officer to drive mortgage sales and build client relationships with real estate agents and community partners.

You will consult on financial needs, analyze data, and advise on lending solutions; travel to meet clients and work with processors and underwriters to close loans. FHA/VA experience and an established book of business are valued.

Qualifications

2-5 years relevant experience.
Residential Mortgage experience required.
3+ years previous mortgage sales experience required.
Established relationships with diverse realtor organizations and affordable lending nonprofits in origination territory.
Experience with community loan products inclusive of specialized LMI mortgage solutions, lender paid assistance programs and 3rd party assistance programs.

Responsibilities

Consult with customers about their financial situation and lending needs to achieve home ownership goals.
Analyze information to determine qualification for lending solutions.
Make recommendations on lending solutions to meet objectives.
Promote Citi branded lending products to real estate agents and clients.
Attend events to develop diverse referral networks and expand community partnerships.
Coordinate with processors/underwriters to ensure timely loan closings.
