Intervention Inc. is seeking an entry-level Community Corrections Specialist for our Lakewood facility to help justice-involved adults reenter the community. You’ll work evening shifts, learn through full paid training, and support reentry with supervision, records, and adherence to facility guidelines.

The role offers a clear path into probation, parole and case management with opportunities for advancement and a strong emphasis on safety and professional boundaries.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Skills: Strong verbal communication and de-escalation.
• Mindset: Maintain firm, professional boundaries with residents.
• Details: High attention to detail for logs and records.
• Background: Pass a standard criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor facility safety with rounds, headcounts, and checks.
• Track resident movements, sign-ins/outs, and curfew adherence.
• Administer urine drug screenings and breathalyzer tests.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and incident reports.
• Support reentry by guiding residents to rules and resources.
