Job summary

Intervention, Inc. in Colorado is seeking an entry-level Criminal Justice Community Corrections Specialist. The role focuses on supervising clients in the criminal justice system and enforcing policies to support pro-social behavior, safety, and community protection.

Responsibilities include client orientation, conducting rounds, incident reporting, coordinating with staff, and ensuring orderly movement within the facility, with overnights and weekends required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years customer service and/or security experience.
• Computer skills – basic data entry, reporting and communications.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work in a security-focused environment and maintain professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Support and adhere to Intervention Inc.'s mission, values and code of conduct.
• Maintain confidentiality of client and company information.
• Educate clients on facility policies and program orientation.
• Conduct rounds and monitor for safety and policy compliance.
• Report incidents accurately and timely to the supervisor on duty.
• Document client movements, sign-ins and sign-outs, and perform searches as required.
• Provide customer service to visitors and assist them to authorized areas.
• Attend required trainings and maintain regular attendance.
