Job summary

Flood & Peterson Insurance Inc. is seeking an Account Assistant to join our Client Service Team in Colorado.

This entry-level role offers comprehensive training and exposure to commercial insurance, supporting account servicing and client retention with accuracy and excellent service. You will process endorsements and certificates, review policies for accuracy, prepare documents for pre-renewal, and maintain data in our Agency Management System while collaborating with seasoned Account Managers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 6–12 months of office administration or customer service experience.
• Colorado Property & Casualty Insurance License within 2 months of hire date or actively pursuing license.
• Actively pursue industry designations such as CISR.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license and acceptable MVR.
• Attention to detail; able to manage tasks accurately and in compliance.
• Customer service skills; able to build strong client relationships and resolve issues.
• Organizational skills; able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Account Servicing: support servicing tasks throughout the policy year, including endorsements, certificates, and invoicing.
• Policy Checks: review new and renewal policies for accuracy and discrepancies in coverage.
• Pre-Renewal Preparation: gather and organize documents for pre-renewal (loss runs, certificate lists).
• Data Accuracy: maintain policy data in the Agency Management System by processing requests.
• Customer Service: provide excellent service by addressing client requests promptly and supporting team improvement.
