Job summary

Flood and Peterson Insurance in Colorado is seeking an Account Assistant to join our client-focused commercial insurance team. This entry-level role offers comprehensive training and mentorship, with opportunities to grow into a key contributor while supporting account servicing and client relationships.

You will work alongside experienced Account Managers, help with endorsements, certificates, invoicing, policy checks, and data entry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 6–12 months of office administration or customer service experience.
• Colorado Property & Casualty Insurance License within 2 months of hire.
• Pursue industry designations such as CISR.

Responsibilities

• Support account servicing tasks throughout the policy year including endorsements, certificates, and invoicing.
• Review new and renewal policies for accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Assist pre-renewal preparation by gathering documents and loss runs.
• Maintain accurate policy data in the Agency Management System.
• Provide excellent customer service and support team collaboration.
