Job summary

Lineage Logistics, the world's leading temperature-controlled logistics company, is hiring a Maintenance Technician I for our industrial cold storage facility. This entry-level role emphasizes building hands-on maintenance skills across MHE, HVAC, and building systems while supporting senior technicians.

The position includes on-the-job training, safety-focused work practices, and collaboration with operations and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn basic electrical, hydraulic, and MHE maintenance.
• Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools and follow written instructions.
• Commitment to safety procedures and wearing PPE as required.
• Experience in maintenance or related fields is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance and basic repairs on material handling equipment (electric and propane forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks).
• Aid experienced technicians with basic troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance on lighting, plumbing, HVAC, dock doors, racking, and building systems.
• Complete work orders and basic maintenance documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE usage.
