Job summary

Lineage – The World’s Leading Temperature-Controlled Logistics Company is hiring a Maintenance Technician I for our industrial cold storage facility. This entry-level role focuses on hands-on maintenance across facility systems and material handling equipment, with on-call duties and flexible hours as needed.

You will learn and assist with preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and safety protocols while supporting senior technicians and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance or related mechanical work is preferred but not required.
• Solid mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn electrical, hydraulic, MHE, and facilities maintenance.
• Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools and follow written instructions and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventive maintenance and basic repairs on material handling equipment (electric and propane forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks).
• Assist experienced technicians with basic troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on MHE and building systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on lighting, plumbing, HVAC, dock doors, racking, and general building systems.
• Complete work orders, inspection records, and basic maintenance documentation.
• Follow safety procedures including PPE, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and safe work practices.
