Job summary

GLOCK, Inc. is seeking a skilled machinist to oversee metal-part production on the 12B shift (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Friday through Sunday) in Smyrna, GA.

You will adjust machine settings, verify dimensions with precision tools, read blueprints, and ensure quality output for your area. You will also perform re-works, troubleshoot machine and tooling issues, and uphold safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Related experience and/or training in CNC and metal machining.
• Fundamentals of measurement and quality control.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform adjustments to machine settings, tools, and cycle times.
• Ensure production and quality output for the area.
• Read blueprints to ensure dimensional conformance and review measurement reports.
• Perform re-works on and off the machine.
• Troubleshoot general machine, tooling, and programming errors.
