Job summary

GLOCK, Inc. is seeking a CNC Technician I for the 2nd shift (2:00 PM–10:00 PM) at our Smyrna, GA facility. The role focuses on operating CNC machines and ensuring part conformity per blueprints and SOPs.

The ideal candidate will read blueprints, measure parts with precision devices, and participate in lean manufacturing practices to boost efficiency while maintaining a safe, organized workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related CNC/machining training or experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measurement tools.
• Strong problem solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines for GR White Finish on 2nd shift; adjust settings and tooling as needed.
• Inspect parts for conformance using micrometers, calipers, height gauges and other measuring tools.
• Read blueprints, review measurement reports, and take corrective actions to ensure quality.
• Troubleshoot machine and tooling issues; perform on/off machine reworks.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping and documentation accuracy; communicate issues to supervisors.
