Job summary

Orion Castings in North Billerica, MA is hiring for a CNC Production Operator. This on-site role offers training from day one, with shifts on 1st and 2nd routes and a path from operator to specialist as you gain experience in die casting components for aerospace, medical, robotics, and defense applications.

You will learn to set up cycles, measure parts, and maintain clear inspection records while following safety policies and supporting team production goals.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with basic math and accurate measurement.
• No prior machining experience required; training provided.
• Willingness to travel to North Billerica, MA facility for daily on-site work.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC equipment safely, loading and unloading parts.
• Use gauges and measurement tools to inspect parts and maintain records.
• Keep production on pace to meet output targets.
• Identify worn tooling or machine variations and escalate to supervision.
• Follow work instructions and OSHA safety policies.
• Support general production and housekeeping tasks as needed.
