VulcanForms Inc. is seeking a CNC Machinist/Operator in Newburyport, MA to run lathes and mills in a climate-controlled facility for aerospace, defense, satellite and medical device components. This 1st shift role offers growth from operator to setup machinist with internal training and promotion.

You will read drawings, set up jobs, run programs, inspect parts, and mentor junior teammates while maintaining quality and safety in a tight-tolerance environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience running CNC mills/lathes in production.
• Able to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Team-focused with commitment to safety and quality.

Responsabilités

• Run CNC mills and lathes, set up jobs and edit programs.
• Inspect parts during production for dimensional accuracy.
• Train junior team members and assist quality, engineering.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and monitor equipment.
