Job summary

Orion Castings in North Billerica, MA, is seeking a Shipping Associate to support material movement and coordination of inbound/outbound shipments. You will work closely with manufacturing to ensure parts are available when needed at each production stage.

Entry-level candidates are welcome with on-the-job training; first shift 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, and opportunities to advance into machining, quality, or engineering roles within a longstanding, aerospace-focused facility.

Qualifications

• Strong basic math competency.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to spend 8 hours on one's feet bending, lifting, and moving frequently.
• Strong command of English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Material handling – moving parts throughout the facility using pallet jacks, fork trucks, etc.
• Shipping – packing and organizing parts for shipments, loading trucks, completing required paperwork, ensuring proper documentation, etc.
• Receiving – unloading trucks, verifying proper documentation, etc.
• Inventory and reconciliation.
