CFS Technologies, LLC is seeking an entry-level CNC Machinist I to assist in the setup and operation of CNC lathes and mills. You will gain hands-on experience in machining operations, quality inspection, and safety procedures while learning to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.

The role emphasizes teamwork in a fast-paced production environment, with opportunities for growth and skill development in machining processes and equipment maintenance.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years CNC machining or related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Haas machines or equivalent systems is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with setup and operation of CNC lathes and mills to perform machining operations such as turning, boring, threading, and facing on a variety of materials.
• Load and secure raw materials or parts into machines using fixtures, chucks, or clamps.
• Follow machining instructions, safety procedures, and work orders to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Measure and inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify conformance to specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and report issues such as tool wear or dimensional deviations to the CNC Machinist Lead or Process Engineering Manager.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area with proper storage of tools and equipment.
• Assist with basic preventive maintenance such as cleaning and lubrication of machines.
• Follow safety and quality policies and report unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
