Job summary

DIHO Consulting USA in Cedar Creek, TX is seeking an Entry-Level Construction Materials Testing Technician to support field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and pile monitoring. Training will be provided and certification opportunities exist.

You will perform on-site tests, gather data, and produce timely reports while following safety procedures. No prior certification required, but experience in construction or materials testing helps; DISA drug screen and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Over 1 year of experience in construction or construction materials testing.
• Must pass a DISA drug screen and background check.
• TWIC card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform field tests such as concrete testing (slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, cylinder casting).
• Soil compaction testing using sand cone or nuclear density gauge.
• Proctor, Atterberg limits, sieve analysis and other soil classification tests.
• Asphalt density testing and pavement core sampling.
• Pile monitoring during installation to document capacity, penetration, and blow counts.
• Produce timely and detailed reports.
• Operate vehicle safely and follow corporate safety procedures; communicate with team and clients.
