Job summary

DIHO Consulting USA is seeking an Entry-Level Construction Materials Testing Technician in Kenner, LA. Training will be provided, and you can get certified! This role involves field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and pile monitoring to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Candidates with certifications such as ACI, NICET, or TxDOT are preferred and will have opportunities for advancement within a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or construction materials testing.
• Willingness to train and obtain certifications.
• Ability to work at client sites and document results.

Responsibilities

• Perform field tests such as concrete testing (slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, and cylinders).
• Soil compaction testing using sand cone or nuclear density gauge.
• Proctor, Atterberg limits, sieve analysis, and other soil classification tests.
• Asphalt density testing and pavement core sampling.
• Pile monitoring during installation to document capacity and blow counts.
• Produce timely and detailed reports.
• Operate vehicle safely and follow corporate safety procedures.
