Job summary

NOVA Engineering is seeking a CMT Field Engineer in Kennesaw, GA to support Construction Materials Testing & Special Inspection projects across the Atlanta metro area. This salaried position includes overtime and offers opportunities for career advancement on prestigious Southeastern projects.

Primary duties: data reduction and analysis, field testing of soils, concrete and related materials, report preparation, and client communication. 80% fieldwork, occasional travel.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree required, or equivalent international degree with NCEES evaluation.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Staff/project engineering duties including data reduction, analysis and fieldwork for testing/inspection projects.
• Assist with project management and reporting.
• Field inspection, sampling and testing of soils, foundations, concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, etc.
• Prepare reports and communicate with clients.
• Support other NOVA team members to meet company objectives.
