Job summary

NOVA Engineering is seeking a CMT Field Engineer in Kennesaw, GA to work on Construction Materials Testing & Inspection projects throughout the Atlanta metro area. This is a Salaried + Overtime Paid position with room for career advancement.

Primary duties include data reduction, analysis and fieldwork, plus field inspection, reporting and client contact. 80% fieldwork, 20% office, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil engineering degree or equivalent with NCEES evaluation.
• 0-4+ years of experience in construction testing/inspections of soils, concrete, masonry, and/or asphalt materials preferred.
• Entry-level graduates are urged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Staff/project engineering duties including data reduction, analysis & fieldwork for commercial, industrial, retail, government, office and residential projects (Construction Materials Testing/Inspection and some geotechnical engineering)
• Assisting with project management & reporting
• Field inspection, sampling & testing of soils/foundations, concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, etc.
• Report preparation
• Client consultation and maintenance
• Providing assistance to other NOVA team members to promote the overall objectives of the company.
