Job summary

Terracon is seeking a field technician in Athens, GA to perform field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel. You will communicate with the Project Manager and others regarding testing requirements and results, transport samples, and submit data and reports.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 6 months of experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months experience required.
• A valid driver's license with acceptable violation history may be required.
• ACI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Nuclear Density Gauge certification preferred within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist on field testing and observations under supervision.
• Provide clear documentation of findings and results.
• Prepare and submit data and reports to Project Manager.
• Maintain and clean equipment and work areas.
• Follow safety rules and practices on all projects.
