Job summary

US Merit Systems Protection Board is seeking a Systems Administrator Level I to support and manage the agency’s Microsoft cloud and enterprise computing environment. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers and cloud administrators to configure and maintain O365, Entra ID, Azure, Intune, and Defender.

The role requires hands-on experience with Windows, cloud infrastructure, and ITIL-friendly service management practices, with emphasis on problem solving and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience and/or education as defined for IT specialists.
• Candidates must meet all qualifications by closing date.
• Education or PhD/grad education pathway is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day IT operations using Windows and cloud services.
• Coordinate disparate IT resources to troubleshoot IT problems.
• Utilize IT Service Management and cloud/endpoint security tools; backup, VPN, Teams telephony, and SDWAN products.
