Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Technician I to support pharmacists in Peachtree Corners, GA. The role focuses onPrescription processing, medication preparation, and patient-friendly service in a fast-paced home infusion setting.

Under supervision, you will assist with dispensing medications, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate inventory and patient information. 0–6 months experience preferred; training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–6 months of relevant experience.
• Licensed or registered within 6 months of hire (if required by state).
• Enrollment in and completion of the designated training course within 6 months of hire (if required).

Responsibilities

• Review/validate basic prescription drug refill requests and process per policy.
• Assist with preparing and dispensing medications and supplies.
• Maintain equipment through calibration, inspection, cleaning, testing; inform supervisor of defects.
• Collect and maintain basic patient information for planning materials and prescriptions.
• Assist in providing a positive patient experience by answering questions.
• Receive and verify quantities of incoming supplies; stock and store items.
• Review expiration dates, identify shortages; pick, pack materials; create tickets; track inventory.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces and laminar hood flows; organize supplies.
