Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support licensed pharmacists in a high-volume home infusion pharmacy. You will assist with prescription processing, dispensing medications, and equipment handling to ensure safe, accurate operations.

Under supervision, you’ll support patient information collection, inventory management, and site maintenance, while delivering excellent service and maintaining compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0 to 6 months of relevant experience.
• Licensed or registered within 6 months of hire (state dependent).
• Completion of OCH training course within 6 months of hire if required.

Responsibilities

• Review/validate basic prescription drug refill requests and process per policies.
• Assist with preparing and dispensing medications and supplies.
• Maintain equipment through calibration, inspection, cleaning and reporting defects.
• Collect and maintain basic patient information for planning materials and prescriptions.
• Answer basic patient questions and assist with requests to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Receive and verify quantities of incoming supplies; stock and organize materials.
• Review expiration dates and identify shortages; pick and pack materials.
• Track inventory through data entry; schedule routine patient deliveries.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces and laminar hood flows.
