Job summary

Acuity is seeking entry-level Claims Representatives to start in January 2027 in Phoenix, AZ. You will investigate property, auto, and general liability claims, contact involved parties, and gather information to determine coverage and liability while delivering excellent customer service.

Selected candidates will train on-site for up to 12 weeks; bilingual Spanish is preferred but not required. Benefits include a comprehensive package and opportunities for growth within Acuity.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Customer service or insurance experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in current computer technology.
• Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with others.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve multi-line property and liability claims.
• Make initial contact with claimants and insureds.
• Evaluate policy coverage by applying terms.
• Forecast reserves and monitor adequacy.
• Interview claimants, obtain statements, and collect documents.
• Maintain timely activity logs and documentation.
