Job summary

Acuity Insurance seeks entry-level Claims Representatives to start in January 2027. Reps investigate property, auto or general liability claims, contacting involved parties by phone, fax and email to gather information and assess coverage, liability and reserves while delivering strong customer service.

Selected candidates will undergo up to 12 weeks of on-site training; must have a college degree or relevant experience and may benefit from customer service or insurance background.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Customer service or Insurance experience preferred.
• On-site 12-week training program provided and expenses covered.
• Acuity does not sponsor applicants for U.S. work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate and resolve assigned multi-line property and liability claims.
• Make initial contact with claimants and insureds.
• Evaluate policy coverage and determine liability and reserves.
• Document activity and maintain organized claim files.
• Identify potentially fraudulent claims and refer to SIU as needed.
