IMEG is seeking a Civil Engineering New Graduate in Billings, MT to work with experienced engineers and consultants on real projects. You will gain hands-on design, analysis, and project execution experience with mentorship and structured training, supporting surveys, tribal, and public works initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent required.
• Basic skills or knowledge with AutoCAD Civil 3D software and the ability to complete AutoCAD training sessions quickly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in engineering analysis, design, field inspections, report writing, permit applications, and site drainage and grading design.
• Perform basic calculations including hydraulic calculations, traffic projections, piling or rebar calculations, and earthwork balance calculations.
• Assist in designing water and sewer systems for private and municipal clients.
• Collaborate with project teams to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
