Job summary

IMEG is hiring an Electrical Engineering New Graduate in Billings, MT to work closely with experienced engineers providing design, analysis, and project execution experience with mentorship from day one.

You will support electrical systems design for commercial and institutional projects, stay aligned with energy-efficient design goals, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client expectations and project budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• Knowledge of design techniques and engineering analysis for electrical systems in buildings.
• Familiarity with building electrical design standards and code requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and analysis of electrical systems using engineering software.
• Interact with clients to gather requirements and communicate technical information.
• Support project execution as part of a consulting project team.
• Assist with project planning and scheduling to meet deadlines.
• Document design decisions and client instructions while monitoring progress.
• Analyze low to medium complexity tasks and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop practical solutions.
• Contribute to IMEG quality control processes to meet standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in electrical engineering.
• Prioritize safety and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
