Job summary

Mannik Smith Group in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking an Entry Level Engineer to join our Civil/Municipal team. You will provide civil, municipal, land development and/or environmental engineering services under supervision, and work with clients to obtain data and deliver quality, on-time projects.

You'll learn from experienced engineers, draft reports, assist with specifications, and be part of a collaborative team focused on growth and client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Up to three years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to learn and apply standard engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide civil, municipal, land development and/or environmental engineering services.
• Perform specific portions of broader assignments under supervision by an experienced engineer.
• Draft reports, assist with specifications and make preliminary selection of equipment.
• Collaborate with clients to obtain data and share information.
• Work in a team environment and learn from staff engineers, project engineers and managers.
