Job summary

IMEG in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Civil Engineering New Graduate to join our team of experienced engineers and consultants. This entry-level role provides hands-on design, analysis, and project execution experience with mentorship and formal training from day one.

You’ll assist with engineering analysis, site drainage and grading designs, report writing, permit applications, and field inspections while learning the civil engineering trade.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• No prior experience required.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic engineering calculations and simple designs.
• Assist in design of water/sewer systems for small public and private projects.
• Support grading and stormwater designs for site plans.
• Interact with clients and document requirements clearly.
• Collaborate with project team to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Support progress tracking and documentation of design decisions.
