Job summary

Royal is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer Associate in Louisiana to join a multidisciplinary team. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in engineering design and project management, with duties including reports, specifications, permits, and construction schedules, while supporting client communications and quality control.

You will assist in design plans, design calculations, and site evaluations, using CAD and related software to develop documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Willing to take and pass the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam within three months of hire.
• Valid driver’s license.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide general, entry-level support to the engineering department.
• Prepare construction cost estimates, schedules, reports, and project design calculations.
• Ensure compliance with company and client quality requirements.
• Prepare design plans and specifications for projects.
• Evaluate site conditions to aid in design.
• Conduct site damage assessments.
• Use CAD and other design software to develop documents.
• Assist in construction administration duties for projects under construction.
