Royal is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer Associate in Louisiana to join our multidisciplinary team. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in design and project management, with responsibilities including reports, plans, permit applications, and construction schedules.

You will assist in preparing calculations, maintaining quality standards, and supporting client communications while gaining exposure to design and project coordination in a real-world setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or other relevant disciplines.
• Must be willing to take and pass the FE exam within three months of hire.
• Valid driver’s license.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide general, entry-level support to the engineering department.
• Prepare construction cost estimates, schedules, reports, and project design calculations.
• Ensure compliance with company and client quality requirements.
• Prepare design plans and specifications for projects.
• Evaluate the physical conditions of the worksite to aid in design plans.
• Conduct assessments of damage at worksites.
• Use CAD and other design software to develop design documents.
• Assist in construction administration duties for projects under construction.
