Royal in Louisiana is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer Associate to join our multidisciplinary team. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience in design, project management, and client communications.

You will assist in preparing reports, plans, permits, schedules, and construction calculations while supporting quality control and safety standards on active projects. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, FE exam within three months of hire, valid driver’s license, and no prior experience

Responsibilities

• Provide entry-level support to the engineering department.
• Prepare construction cost estimates, schedules, reports, and design calculations.
• Ensure compliance with quality requirements in all programs and areas.
• Prepare design plans and specifications for projects.
• Evaluate the physical conditions of the worksite to aid in design plans.
• Conduct assessments of damage at worksites.
• Use CAD and other design software to develop design documents.
• Assist in construction administration duties for projects under construction.
