Job summary

Team Royal in Louisiana is seeking a motivated Associate Civil Engineer Intern to join our multidisciplinary team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in engineering design and project management, assisting in reports, specifications, plans, permit applications, and construction schedules, while supporting client communications and quality control efforts.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or related field.
2–4 years of progressive engineering experience under a PE.
Active Louisiana EI designation.
Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Provide general entry-level support to the engineering department.
Prepare construction cost estimates, schedules, reports, and project design calculations.
Ensure compliance with applicable company and client quality requirements in all assigned programs.
Prepare design plans and specifications for projects.
Evaluates the physical conditions of the worksite to aid in design plans.
Conduct assessments of damage at worksites.
Use CAD and other design software to develop design documents.
Assist in construction administration duties for projects under construction.
