Job summary

SRF Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a full-time Entry Level Civil Drainage Engineer for our Fargo, ND office (also Minneapolis/ST. Paul area).

You will contribute to roadway drainage design, stormwater BMPs, H&H modeling, and plan production on diverse projects while learning from a collaborative design team. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, FE exam within six months, valid driver's license, and internship experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree from an accredited school.
• Successful completion of the FE exam or ability to take the FE exam within six months of employment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Related internship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tasks you may perform include design calculations, cost estimates and plan production. Occasional field walks and onsite construction observations may require local travel.
• Roadway drainage system layout and design, including storm sewer and culvert design.
• Design of Best Management Practices (BMPs) such as wet ponds, infiltration basins, filtration ditches, etc.
• Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) modeling.
• Design of erosion control and sediment management BMPs.
• Stormwater permitting.
• Be an active participant on a collaborative design team with other groups/disciplines within SRF.
• Exhibit quality day-to-day work in line with SRF's quality management plan.
• Additional duties as assigned.
