Job summary

NIS Express is hiring for a Central Regional driving role based in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, and the Midwest. Trainees receive paid on-the-road mentoring at $650/week during training, then a guaranteed $1,000/week for the first 3 months after solo dispatch.

Drivers typically run 1,700–2,000 miles weekly, with home every two weeks. Average weekly gross is $1,100–$1,400, plus $15 stop pay and a performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Requires Class A CDL and 21+ years old.
• New drivers: 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school.
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the last 5 years.
• Clean record: max 2 moving violations in 2 years, no major preventable accidents in 5 years.
• Pass hair and urine drug testing.

Central Texas drivers don't have to run coast to coast to make a living. This regional fleet keeps you in the middle of the country, gets you through the house often, and trains brand new CDL holders with pay.

Mentor Training

• Paid on the road training with an experienced mentor
• $650 a week during training
• Solo truck once your mentor signs off
• $1,000 a week guaranteed for 3 months after your first solo dispatch

Central Regional

• Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee and the Midwest
• Varied customers, steady freight
• Home every two weeks, often sooner
• 1,700 to 2,000 miles a week, mostly drop and hook

Paycheck

• $1,100 to $1,400 average weekly gross
• Mileage pay that grows with experience
• $15 stop pay plus performance bonus
