Job summary

Triumph seeks an energetic Business Development Associate to join our sales team, driving adoption of LoadPay and carrier financial solutions. You will connect with carriers, understand their needs, and demonstrate how Triumph tools improve cash flow and payments.

The role emphasizes fast-paced, relationship-driven outreach and collaborative problem-solving. You will engage carriers through outbound and inbound channels, qualify leads, and work with internal teams to move opportunities forward,

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales or customer-facing experience.
• Comfortable working toward goals in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
• Strong communication skills, especially over the phone.
• Ability to make high-volume outbound calls and stay organized.
• Interest in financial services, transportation, logistics, or freight is a plus.
• Ability to build rapport, earn trust, and explain solutions clearly.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and proactive mindset.
• Comfortable using CRM tools like Salesforce and basic Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Reach and exceed monthly and quarterly goals through outbound and inbound outreach.
• Introduce LoadPay and explain its value, including faster payments and improved visibility.
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand carrier needs and payment processes.
• Identify opportunities to offer additional Triumph services like factoring, fuel programs, lending, and insurance.
• Generate and qualify leads for internal sales and cross-sell teams.
• Track activity, pipeline updates, and customer interactions in Salesforce.
• Handle questions and objections professionally and guide prospects to next steps.
• Share customer feedback and market insights with product and leadership teams.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support onboarding and issue resolution.
