Job summary

Triumph is seeking a driven Business Development Associate to grow our LoadPay platform and carrier financial solutions. You will connect with carriers, understand their needs, and present solutions that improve cash flow and payment efficiency.

This role starts as an evergreen requisition for future cohorts with anticipated start dates in late 2026 and 2027. You will conduct outbound and inbound outreach, build relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to move opportunities forward,

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales, business development, or customer-facing experience preferred.
• Comfortable working toward goals in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
• Strong communication skills, especially over the phone.
• Ability to make high-volume outbound calls and stay organized.
• Interest in financial services, transportation, logistics, or freight is a plus.
• Ability to build rapport, earn trust, and explain solutions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Reach and exceed monthly and quarterly goals by engaging carriers through outbound calls and inbound inquiries.
• Introduce LoadPay and clearly explain its value, including faster payments and improved financial visibility.
• Have discovery conversations to understand carrier needs and payment processes.
• Identify opportunities to introduce additional Triumph services such as factoring, fuel programs, lending, and insurance.
• Generate and qualify leads for internal sales and cross-sell teams.
• Track activity and updates in Salesforce.
• Support onboarding and issue resolution with internal teams.
