Quality Automotive Services, a Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) franchisee, is hiring an Entry-Level Lube Technician in Pawleys Island, SC. No prior automotive experience is required; paid training begins immediately to teach you vehicle maintenance basics in a stay-in-your-car setting.

You will learn how to greet customers, explain service findings clearly, and assist with routine maintenance while prioritizing safety and efficiency for every guest.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Interest in automotive repair and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly service.
• Explain maintenance results clearly without jargon.
• Assist in recommending only necessary maintenance.
• Learn to perform 18-point maintenance checks.
• Learn to perform full-service oil changes.
• Inspect fluid levels and perform fluid exchanges.
• Check tire pressure and rotate tires.
• Test and replace 12V batteries and bulbs.
• Maintain clean, safe shop environment.
