Quality Automotive Services, a Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) franchisee, is hiring an Entry-Level Lube Technician with no prior automotive experience required. We provide comprehensive hands-on training to start your career in automotive maintenance in our stay-in-your-car service environment.

You'll learn 18-point checks, oil changes, fluid maintenance, tire care, and safety while delivering friendly, efficient service and building trust with guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; automotive certification or formal training is a plus but not required.
• Genuine interest in automotive repair and a willingness to learn and grow in the field.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, crouching, and working in varied positions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact with customers professionally.
• Flexibility and willingness to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Guest Greeting: Welcome customers with a friendly, positive attitude as they arrive for their stay-in-your-car service.
• Clear Communication: Assist senior technicians in explaining the results of 18-point maintenance checks clearly.
• Trust & Integrity: Help build customer trust by following company guidelines and recommending only necessary preventative maintenance.
• Teamwork & Efficiency: Work collaboratively with your team to deliver prompt, high-quality service.
• Continuous Learning: Learn how to answer basic customer questions regarding fluid levels, filters, and routine maintenance needs.
