Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or CAD certificate preferred or equivalent experience.
• Basic knowledge of CAD software; familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic drafting and design tasks using CAD software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Prepare and update construction plans and project exhibits using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Utilize AutoCAD functions and Civil 3D to support plan productions.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and project managers to meet objectives and deadlines.
• Apply CAD standards to ensure consistency in layers, line styles, symbols, and sheets.
• Assist with organization of technical documentation and project files.
• Support QA/QC procedures and agency checklists in construction documents.
• Maintain organized project files for team collaboration.
• Communicate tasks and deadlines to team members.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn new tools and discipline requirements.
