Job summary

CUI Cable Services in Roanoke, VA is seeking Telecommunications Technicians. No prior cable experience is required; we provide paid training and the tools and support you need to succeed.

You will travel to customer homes, install and service telecommunications equipment, and deliver an outstanding customer experience. We offer a company vehicle to take home, a company cell phone, uniforms, tools, and equipment, monthly performance bonuses, a $500 sign-on bonus, a 401(k) with company match, paid

Responsibilities

• Install, activate, and troubleshoot residential Internet, TV, Phone, and Security services
• Diagnose and resolve service issues efficiently
• Educate customers on their equipment and services
• Test signal quality and ensure every installation meets company standards
• Complete upgrades, repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Accurately document completed work using mobile applications
• Maintain your company vehicle, tools, and inventory
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Continue developing your skills through ongoing training and certifications

What You'll Do

Every day is different. As a Cable Technician, you'll travel to customer homes installing and servicing telecommunications equipment while providing an outstanding customer experience.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must be at least 23 years old
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
• Comfortable climbing ladders up to 30 feet
• Able to work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors in all weather conditions
