Job summary

CUI Cable Services is hiring entry-level Cable Technicians in Winchester, VA. No cable experience is required, as paid training and a company vehicle are provided. You will learn to install and service Internet, TV, phone, and security systems while helping customers stay connected.

You’ll work with a supportive team, receive weekly pay and401(k) matching, and have clear opportunities to advance into lead or supervisory roles as you gain skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Comfortable climbing ladders up to 30 feet.
• Able to work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install, activate, and troubleshoot residential Internet, TV, Phone, and Security services.
• Diagnose and resolve service issues efficiently.
• Educate customers on their equipment and services.
• Test signal quality and ensure installations meet company standards.
• Complete upgrades, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
• Document completed work using mobile apps.
• Maintain the company vehicle, tools, and inventory.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Pursue ongoing training and certifications.

What You'll Do

Every day is different. As a Cable Technician, you'll travel to customer homes installing and servicing telecommunications equipment while providing an outstanding customer experience.
