Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. seeks a Cabin Engineer in Mobile, Alabama to drive design and modernization through 2D/3D modeling, data-driven decision making, and automation.

You will coordinate with stress engineers, drafters, and designers to support manufacturability and validation of cabin configurations. Ideal candidates hold a BS in engineering with 0–3 years of cabin/cargo experience, are proficient in Catia V5, Python, and Google Workspace, and can write technical reports and specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering with 0–3 years in design/analysis for cabin/cargo or system installation projects.
• Master of Science in Engineering with CAD experience in Catia V5 preferred.
• Proficiency in Python, Google G Suite, and data analysis is expected.
• Experience with PDM (TAKSY, PASS-SSI) and MS Office/Google Products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Update and revise 2D/3D models based on manufacturing and design requirements under senior supervision.
• Track customization milestones and support project deliverables through the engineering change process.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support design manufacturability.
• Develop scripted or automated solutions for recurring design issues.
• Prepare engineering models and documentation following standards and regulatory requirements.
